About This Show

Little Gigs is a laid-back evening that seeks to break down the boundaries between artists, audiences and venues.

Hosted by singer-songwriter Marie Naffah, who remembers soulless gigs all too well and hopes to create a relaxed night of stripped-back music and musicians telling the stories behind the songs.

After a wonderful run of shows at Tooting's Mezzanine, we're excited to launch 'Little Gigs East' at the beautiful Muddy Puddle in Stoke Newington.

Come for a laid-back Wednesday launch ft. fresh flowers, tablecloths, tea lights, friends, drinks, hangs, a kind audience, an intimate venue and some of London's finest indie artists.

Meet The Artists

The Rabbitts

Genre-blending folk band The Rabbitts have been described as "ethereal and understated" on BBC Radio 6 Music. Their unique and colourful sound is characterised by delicate harmonies and an intricately interwoven tapestry of mandolin, guitar, bass, and drums. The Norwich-based band started 2025 with a 15-date full-band tour of the UK, and are currently in the process of creating a series of four EPs each exploring different moods and influences. We are proud to welcome them into the Little Gigs space for a special set.

Chisara Agor

Can a world exist beyond Babylon? This question lies at the heart of Chisara Agor’s expansive, multidisciplinary practice, reflecting on how we navigate the complexities of contemporary existence. Rooted in their creative education at a local theatre in Peckham, Agor’s work spans music, film, theatre, and visual art—drawing on early training in acting, singing, dancing, and writing. An award-winning composer and multidisciplinary artist, Agor’s approach is grounded in philosophical inquiry, aiming to provoke conversation on society, politics, myth and the pursuit of joy. They have been commissioned by institutions and organisations such as Tate, Talawa Theatre, MSCTY, BBC x ICA, National Theatre New Work Studio, Sound UK. Through their creative haus, We Are The New Hope, Agor engages in collaborative projects that challenge traditional artistic boundaries, as well as opening and performing with some of the worlds biggest artists like BlackStreet, Anais Mitchel, Tom Odell and Corinne Bailey Rae. Having commanded large stages with a full band, Chisara offers a rare privilege for us at Little Gigs: the chance to experience their set in its most intimate form.
